Committee Policy  

We are BSA Troop 280.  We meet every Thursday evening from 7:30pm until 9:00pm at  Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church, 66101 Morriss Rd, Flower Mound, Texas near Lewisville, Texas. We are part of the Topsanah District of the Longhorn Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  We are located near the city of Dallas in the great state of Texas.  Our sponsor is the Highland Village Lions Club.

At present we are a troop of 79 boys in 10 patrols having formed in November of 1994 when we started with just 9 boys.  Over Fifteen years strong,  we have grown to be one of the strongest troops in the district and have seen 54 of our own attain scouting's highest award.  We also have many life scouts that are working hard towards their Eagle.
